Built in 2001, the CVA is an 11.5 million dollar, 66,000 square foot complex encompassing four buildings: the Art Building, the Marion Ady Building, the DeBoer Sculpture Building, and the Schneider Museum of Art. The stunning architecture represents the significance of fine arts to the region. The buildings all have generous natural lighting, high ceilings, and beautiful views of the Siskiyou Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Six student-run galleries (two in the Art Building and four in Marion Ady) offer students opportunities for resume-building exhibit experience, and nine semi-private studios provide workspace for students outside of the classroom.<\/p>\n<p><picture><source srcset=\"https:\/\/sou.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2018\/01\/Southern-Oregon-University-Main-Art-Building.webp \"  type=\"image\/webp\"><img src=\"https:\/\/sou.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2018\/01\/Southern-Oregon-University-Main-Art-Building.jpg\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" class=\"pop-20 sp-no-webp\" alt=\"糖心传媒 University Main Art Building\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"  > <\/picture><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"pop-4\">Main Art Building<\/h4>\n<p>The main Art Building, which houses faculty offices and features a large lobby with fireplace, includes two seminar rooms, the 160-seat Meese Auditorium, and a 50-seat Art History classroom that provides space for classes, lectures, and performances. Applications are accepted in early winter for the following academic year. Students must reapply each year to be considered for a scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>Scholarship applications have a recurring <span class=\"heavy-man\">annual deadline of March 1st.<\/span> In order to apply for a scholarship, you first must have <a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\/\">applied for admission<\/a> and have been accepted to SOU.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"heavy-man\">To Apply for Art Scholarships:<\/span><br \/>\nFill out the <a href=\"\/financial-aid\/scholarships\/apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Southern Online Scholarship Application (SOSA)<\/a>.<br \/>\nSearch and individually apply for the Art and Art History scholarships listed below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"heavy-man dig-4\">Available Scholarships:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"tight-text\">\n<li>Betty L.
