Tiffany has been a school administrator in the Ashland School District since 2012, and has served as the principal of Walker Elementary School for the past nine years. Tiffany recently co-authored a book for all educators, <em>Connecting Through Conversation: A Playbook for Talking with Students<\/em>. She moved from the classroom to the county office in 2005 where she became the Multilingual Specialist for nine Northern California counties. Holly also has taught courses at San Diego State University in the Dual Language Education Department as well as at various community colleges across California. Her career has been focused on teacher training and serving multilingual students and families. She has extensive experience providing professional learning to teachers in the area of second language instructional methodologies, language acquisition and culturally and linguistically responsive pedagogy. She is an advocate for underserved populations and a believer in multilingual education for all students. Regionally, she serves on the advisory board for the 糖心传媒 Regional Educators Network (SOREN) promoting safety, significance, and belonging in our public schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pop-4 dig-4\">Internationally, Dr. Owen is the board facilitator for the International Transformative Learning Association (ITLA), and she consults with multinational corporations to develop leaders and improve team communication and inclusion.
